Over dinner, Mrs Hg recounted this afternoon's conversation with Niece #2 (currently nine years old and regarded as The One Most Likely To End Up On The Stage).

Asked what she thinks about Brownies (of the "mega adventures" variety, rather than the sweet, sticky chocolate type), she replied that she isn't that keen because she's "not an icon" to the other girls. What on earth did she mean, Mrs Hg wondered? "Oh, that's just my crazy girl talk," was the reply.
