UK Greenwich, 15 March 2003

I wandered through Greenwich Park, past the Royal Observatory and down to the National Maritime Museum (based in the former Royal Naval College). Then I walked along the waterfront and through the Foot Tunnel to the Isle of Dogs before returning to Greenwich via the DLR. If you're unfamiliar with London but you watch the soap opera EastEnders, you'll recognise the "U-bend" part of the River Thames from the show's opening credits. Greenwich is immediately south of this part of the river. This map demonstrates. Back to gallery index
